Is it the right size for you?

One 100Ah battery runs about 100W of load for 5–6 hours. Pair it with a 300W panel and a 20A–30A charge controller. For bigger loads or longer nights, step up to our 200Ah battery or join two 100Ah batteries.

Will it run my solar incubator overnight?

Yes. A 128–192 egg solar incubator draws roughly 60–80W, so a full 100Ah battery carries it through the night.

Gel or ordinary car battery?

Gel deep cycle batteries handle daily deep discharge; a car battery is built for short bursts and wears out quickly on solar.
