Chicken cages

Chicken cages for sale in Kenya: A-type and H-type battery cages for layers. The tiers hold hens off the floor with feed in front and eggs rolling forward to a collection tray, so eggs stay clean and every bird can be checked in one walk.

Cages suit a farmer keeping layers in a small house: more birds per square metre than a deep-litter floor, less feed wasted, and far fewer dirty or broken eggs. Plan for good ventilation and a daily routine for clearing the manure under the tiers.
